So, let me tell you about ME!
I am a Solomon Island Eclectus Hen, hatched in Florida, March 9, 1999. I
was flown to a staging area in Montclair, NJ where I met my human
caretaker. About 3 months after hatching, I came to my new home and started to take
over the place.
I weigh about 440 grams.
All parrots are beautiful, but I'm GORGEOUS!
I can talk, but I'm usually too curious with what is going on to talk in
public. However, I can say:
- Peek-a-boo (my calling card)
- I see you
- Gotcha (after I give a LITTLE love bite)
- Hi
- Hello
- How are you
- Fine, how are you
- Pat (to call my human caretaker to FEED ME)
- What are you doing
- What did you do
- Where are you
- There you are
- You you you you you
- Tickle tickle tickle tickle
- (A sloppy kiss sound)
- One, two, three
- Five
- Love you
- No no no no no no no (yeah, I hear this often)
- Careful
- P U (when the male human caretaker is around)
- I'm gonna get you
What I eat:
Anything and everything! (I'm a growing girl you know.) The only exception
is dried fruit (that includes raisins).
My favorite game is soccer goalie. Second favorite is anything
outside of the cage when I can be near my human companions.
I love to go for rides in the car (even if it's to visit this crazy old lady my
female human care taker calls "mom").
If you have any other questions, please feel free to
email me.
Please remember that you should respect me like you would any queen of
the nest!
OK, so you've read all about me...now find out about my friends.
